Gabrielle Harris Thomas created this book to honor the memory and legacy of her son, Benjie. Through storytelling, she hopes to inspire children to practice kindness, compassion, and respect in their everyday lives.

A proud New Orleans native, Gabrielle believes that every child can be a hero of kindness — and that stories have the power to shape generations.
